Our school has won the Boys' Overall Team Championship at the Kwai Tsing District Inter-School Athletics Meet

Our school has once again claimed the championship title at the Kwai Tsing District Inter-School Athletics Meet, standing out among many schools and fully demonstrating the outstanding athletic abilities and team spirit of our students. Every athlete embodies perseverance and determination, striving for excellence and upholding our school’s core value of “relentless self-improvement.”

Form 6 student, Kenneth Lau, distinguished himself in fierce competition and secured the gold medal in the Boys’ Senior 110m Hurdles. With exceptional speed and breakthrough performance, Kenneth brought glory to our school. He also represented the school in the Senior Boys’ 4×400m relay. Despite falling behind in points during the race, Kenneth’s unwavering effort and full dedication showcased a never-give-up sporting spirit.

Form 4 student, Jonathan Wong, also excelled in the Boys’ Junior 4×400m relay. Even though his teammates had limited practice time, Jonathan and his team continuously encouraged each other and bravely overcame challenges. Through a stable mindset and flawless teamwork, they delivered an outstanding and surprising result, demonstrating both their potential and confidence, and becoming role models for their peers.

On another note, Form 6 student, Fion Lo, made history in the Girls’ Senior discus event! Fion broke the previous inter-school record of 30.18 meters with a remarkable throw of 36.24 meters. Her stellar performance added another glorious achievement to our school and made her the highlight of the entire event.

With the exceptional performances and mutual support among all our athletes, our school triumphantly secured the Boys’ Overall Team Championship. Whether in individual or team events, everyone achieved their goals through relentless effort and cooperative spirit, earning applause and honor.

Mr. Chan, our PE teacher, especially expressed his heartfelt praise to all students, encouraging them by saying, “Every point is extremely precious. As long as everyone works unitedly, victory is within reach!” The teacher’s encouragement greatly boosted the students’ confidence, inspiring them to stay passionate, strive for greater heights, and continue achieving outstanding results.

The principal also offered words of encouragement to the students after the competition, commending them for their perseverance and teamwork displayed throughout the event. The principal encouraged everyone to maintain a proactive attitude, pursue excellence in future challenges, and uphold the spirit of “relentless self-improvement.”
