To enhance students' self-directed English learning through immersive experiences and international exposure, as well as to deepen their understanding of British universities and culture, the English Department organised the England Study Tour 2025 from 26 June to 5 July 2025.

  During the tour, students visited several iconic landmarks in London, including Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Thames River, and the British Museum. These visits provided valuable insights into British architecture, history, and cultural heritage. One of the highlights of the tour was attending a performance of the West End musical The Lion King. The impressive cast, elaborate costumes, and live orchestral music left the students in awe.

  Students also visited some of the UK’s most prestigious universities, including the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford. They participated in English-language arts workshops, where they explored Shakespearean drama and British vocal and musical techniques through hands-on experiences.

  The study tour was a truly enriching and memorable experience for our students. Beyond exploring the culture and lifestyle of England, they engaged in meaningful cultural exchange and practised English in authentic contexts. Through these immersive learning opportunities, students greatly enhanced both their interest and confidence in using the English language.

為了讓學生透過沉浸學習及外地交流，提升英語自主學習能力，加深對英國當地大學及文化的了解，本校英文科於2025年6月26日至7月5日舉辦「英國文化考察團2025」。

同學到訪了英國倫敦多個著名的地標，包括白金漢宮（Buckingham Palace）、倫敦塔橋（Tower Bridge）、西敏寺大教堂（Westminster Abbey）、聖保羅座堂（St Paul’s Cathedral）、泰晤士河（Thames River）、大英博物館（British Museum）等等，深入了解英國的建築與歷史文化。在其中一天，本團亦安排同學觀賞《獅子王》（The Lion King）歌劇，龐大的演員及服裝陣容，加上現場管弦樂團演奏十分震撼，令同學嘆為觀止。

此外，同學也參觀了當地多所知名學府，包括劍橋大學（Cambridge University）和牛津大學（Oxford University），期間參與了以英語進行的藝術課堂體驗，親身體驗莎士比亞戲劇及英倫音樂歌唱技巧。

同學在這次交流團滿載而歸，除了飽覽英國的風土人情，更得到許多難能可貴的機會，親身體驗當地文化及練習英語溝通，對英語的學習興趣和能力都成長不少。
