Coral Nurturing Campus Programme
Twelve students from our school actively participated in the "Coral Nurturing Campus Programme," engaging hands-on in coral conservation efforts. Students not only systematically studied coral ecology knowledge on campus and took responsibility for the daily maintenance and observation of coral tanks, but also deepened their environmental conservation mission through diverse practical experiences: conducting field studies of natural coral communities at Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park to understand marine ecosystems; visiting the Hong Kong Ocean Park Aquarium to learn about advanced life-support systems and conservation techniques; and participating in on-board coral transplantation practice, assisting in transplanting corals they had previously nurtured into marine waters, contributing to the restoration of marine ecosystems.
