To recognize and commend students for their achievements and outstanding accomplishments in various areas of extra-curricular activities, the school held an Activity Award Ceremony on 9th July.

The school was honored to have Mr. Ng Sheung Yan, a representative of the Ng family, the founding family of our school, as the guest of honor to officiate and present the awards. During the ceremony, he mentioned that the Ng family established "T.W.G.Hs Mrs. Wu York Yu Memorial College" with the purpose of providing a favorable environment for young people from different backgrounds to have opportunities for education. He expressed his great pleasure in seeing students receiving awards in different areas such as sports, music, and culture.

He was delighted to see students earnestly pursuing their studies and being able to forge their own paths. Learning and activities are integrated; students unconsciously apply the knowledge they have learned when participating in activities. Through activities, students can acquire more skills and deeper experience.

Finally, he encouraged students to make more attempts, explore their own interests, hold on to their curiosity, seize the resources and opportunities provided by the school to participate in different types of activities, break through their own limitations, and demonstrate their potential.
