Campus life
School Opening Ceremony
At the start of the new school year, the campus is filled with vibrant energy. Form One freshmen bid reluctant farewells to their parents at the gate, carrying new school bags and dressed neatly in their uniforms as they step into the campus, officially beginning their much-anticipated school life. In the eyes of the parents, mingled feelings of reluctance and blessings for their children’s future can be seen. Inside the campus, the familiar ringing of the bell and the laughter of students intertwine, heralding the hope and vitality of the new year.
The opening ceremony was held solemnly in the assembly hall, where all teachers and students gathered in a dignified yet warm atmosphere. The ceremony began with a flag-raising ritual, during which the Student Union and teachers led everyone in singing the national anthem. The resounding voices showcased unity and pride.
Principal Wong then delivered a speech, using examples from the anime “One Piece” to encourage students to learn from the characters’ perseverance and the spirit of never giving up. He emphasized that students will inevitably face challenges in academics and life, such as heavy coursework or the tests of interpersonal relationships, and should confront them with indomitable will, bravely pursuing their goals. The principal especially encouraged students to cultivate resilience: no matter how great the setbacks, they should hold fast to their beliefs and support each other in growing together, creating their own success stories.
The ceremony also invited the first cohort of graduates to share their experiences, recounting how they overcame difficulties and pursued their dreams at school, inspiring younger students to actively explore their potential. The subsequent scholarship presentation recognized outstanding students in academics and extracurricular activities, motivating everyone to strive for excellence. At the end of the ceremony, Principal Wong urged students to meet the challenges of the new school year with a resilient mindset.
On the first day of school, parents and students walked hand in hand, sharing warm and joyful moments together.
Students put on their neat uniforms and participated in the opening ceremony, their bright smiles reflecting their happiness and excitement.
Principal Wong warmly invited students to come on stage and share interesting stories from their summer vacation, fostering meaningful communication and deeper connections.
