To broaden teachers' horizons and promote academic and cultural exchanges between regions, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals organized a five-day "Sichuan and Chongqing Teachers' Mainland Study Tour" from November 3 to 7. The itinerary spanned Chengdu and Chongqing, two major western cities, encompassing visits to universities, enterprises, cultural heritage sites, and professional exchanges.

On the second day of the itinerary, the teachers visited the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding for a close-up observation of the national treasure's ecology. In the afternoon, they proceeded to Guancheng Experimental School in Wenjiang District, Chengdu, for in-depth interactions with local teachers and students. They then headed to the Jinsha Site Museum to trace the splendid history of the ancient Shu civilization.

The following day, they visited Sichuan University to experience its profound academic atmosphere. Taking the high-speed rail to the mountainous city of Chongqing, they immediately embarked on a series of intensive and enriching activities. The teachers not only toured Chongqing University, sharing lunch and learning experiences with local students, but also visited the Changan Automobile Liangjiang Factory and Kingstar Technology Group, gaining firsthand insights into the pulse of modern industry and technological innovation.

On the final day, the teachers explored the Chongqing Three Gorges Museum and the People's Auditorium, delving into the profound legacy of the Three Gorges Project and Bayu culture. In the concluding sharing session, the teachers reflected on their observations and learnings over the past few days, discussing how to integrate these exchanges into their disciplines and effectively impart them to students, bringing the journey to a perfect close.

This exchange not only allowed the teachers to appreciate the unique urban landscapes and cultural heritage of Sichuan and Chongqing but also sparked reflections on future development through dialogues with local students and industry experts. It is anticipated that Tung Wah Group of Hospitals will continue to promote more cross-regional learning and exchanges in the future.
