PolyU Maths Gifted Programme: Differential Calculus
Recently, our students have demonstrated outstanding mathematical potential by successfully passing the SNC International Mathematical Competency Test, earning the qualification to enroll in the “Advanced Mathematics Gifted Education Programme—Senior Secondary Calculus Class” organized by the Department of Applied Mathematics at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. This test follows strict international standards, requiring students to possess solid mathematical knowledge and agile computational skills in order to pass, which fully reflects the rigorous nature of the assessment. As a prestigious institution in Hong Kong, PolyU’s courses are both comprehensive and in-depth. Students must not only master the theoretical foundations of calculus but also exhibit independent thinking and problem-solving abilities throughout a highly challenging process.
During their preparation and study, the students devoted themselves wholeheartedly and persevered. Ultimately, they excelled in the rigorous assessments and successfully obtained certificates, which is truly remarkable. This achievement is not only a recognition of their academic abilities but also a testament to their dedication and perseverance.
