Form 1 Outdoor Learning Day
On December 22, the school held an Outdoor Learning Day for Form 1 students. Form 1 students participated in numerous group activities at the Anchor House, The Boys' Bridge Hong Kong, including an orienteering activity at Noah's Ark in the afternoon.Through diverse activities, students learned many valuable knowledge and skills beyond the classroom:
Teamwork and Communication Skills: In the group activities at the Anchor House , students needed to work together and complete various tasks collaboratively. They learned how to communicate effectively, coordinate division of labor, and respect different opinions. These experiences helped them understand the power of teamwork and that each member plays an important role in the team.
Problem-Solving Abilities and Adaptability: Facing various unexpected situations and challenges, students needed to think calmly and adapt flexibly. Whether encountering difficulties in group games or losing direction during orienteering activities, they learned how to analyze problems, find solutions, and learn from mistakes.
Positive Attitude and Resilience: Facing unfamiliar environments and challenging tasks, students learned to approach difficulties with a positive attitude and not give up easily. Even when encountering setbacks, with encouragement from teachers and classmates, they were able to recover and continue their efforts. This persistence and resilience will become important assets on their growth journey.
It is believed that Form 1 students not only strengthened their friendships during this fulfilling learning day but also learned many practical life skills and correct values. These valuable experiences will lay a solid foundation for their secondary school life, helping them adapt and grow better.
