"Celebrating Reunion During the Lantern Festival" Event
The Home Economics Society and the National Education Ambassadors organised the "Celebrating Reunion During the Lantern Festival" event on the 3rd of March, the day of the Lantern Festival. Students participated by making tangyuan (glutinous rice balls), thereby gaining an appreciation for traditional Chinese festivals and food culture, and understanding the symbolic meaning of tangyuan. The students also cooked the tangyuan themselves and personally presented them to the Principal, teachers, and various school staff members, wishing every member of the Ng Yeuk Yuen family unity, happiness, and fulfilment.
