To enhance students' appreciation and experience of China's intangible cultural heritage — tea culture — the school's Life Education Unit, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Kai Tak, Interact Club, organized the Tea Art and Mindfulness Workshop on March 3, 2026. Through an introduction to tea culture and mindful tea tasting, students learned to cultivate focus and inner calm in the tranquil aroma of tea, strengthen peer support, and relieve study stress by improving emotional regulation.
During the workshop, the tea instructor also shared the history and background of several precious tea cakes and tea factories. Students explored the distinctions between ripe and raw Pu'er tea, recognizing their unique aromas and flavors while appreciating the refreshing or rich tastes of different brews. The workshop not only deepened students' understanding of the grace and philosophy of traditional Chinese tea culture but also encouraged gratitude for the natural resources that make each cup possible — nurturing tranquility and thankfulness through the art of tea.
