Femi-Nin Presents: A Menstrual Health & Wellness Seminar for Pubescent Girls

On May 11, the Chinese History and Culture Society, in collaboration with the Home Economics Society, hosted the Femi-Nin  a Menstrual Health & Wellness Seminar for Pubescent Girls Seminar in the school library.

The event featured a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) who provided expert insights from both TCM and nutritional perspectives. The seminar covered essential knowledge regarding menstrual cycles, helping students identify their personal body constitutions and sharing secrets for menstrual health management.

The primary goal of the session was to empower young girls to understand and embrace the physical and psychological changes that occur during puberty. By learning how to regulate their bodies early on, students can navigate this transition smoothly, achieve long-term wellness, and gain a deeper appreciation for the national heritage of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The atmosphere was vibrant, with students responding enthusiastically and actively engaging the TCM practitioner during the Q&A session.
