Mother's Day Flower Arrangement Workshop

To celebrate Mother's Day, the Life Education Unit and the Rotary Club of Kai Tak, Interact Club, jointly organized the "Mother's Day Floral Art Workshop", which was successfully held on May 5, 2026. Through this hands-on experience of crafting festive gifts, the event aimed to guide students in reflecting upon and appreciating their parents' nurture and care. Under the guidance of professional instructors, the workshop featured carnations as the primary floral element. The instructors patiently demonstrated how to gently "massage" the buds to facilitate their natural and splendid blossoming. With focused dedication, students successfully arranged the fresh flowers to create their own meticulously designed "mini flower bags." In addition to floral arrangement, the workshop included a session for writing greeting cards. This provided an opportunity for students to articulate their appreciation in words, learning to express their gratitude in a meaningful and concrete manner. The school hopes that students will bring these heartfelt creations home to extend their warmest and most sincere festive wishes to their mothers.
