Social Service Club: Animals in the City Wildlife & Pet Seminar
We are honored to have guest speakers from the Non-Profit making Veterinary Services Society (NPV) join us. The speakers will guide members through local news stories and real-life examples, such as the living space of community cats and dogs, as well as public perceptions and prejudices towards rodents like rats and hamsters. This lecture aims to promote animal protection concepts of "respecting life and achieving community harmony", exploring ways for humans and urban animals to co-exist peacefully. The event also features a special animal interaction session. By having close contact with animal volunteers, students will reflect on the true meaning of social service and learn to extend their compassion to all forms of life in our community.
