Opening Ceremony

At the beginning of the new academic year, Principal Wong Hoi Cheuk delivered his message of encouragement in a creative and inspiring way. During the ceremony, he played the well-known fairy tale Cinderella, a story beloved by students and rich in moral lessons. After the screening, Principal Wong invited six students on stage for interactive discussion, making this the very first character education lesson of the year.

He guided students to reflect on how Cinderella faced adversity with optimism and resilience, encouraging them to show courage, perseverance, and determination when encountering challenges in their own learning journey. Principal Wong also highlighted the importance of kindness, noting that Cinderella was never alone—her compassion won her the support of animals and her fairy godmother. He reminded students that “virtue is never solitary; it always attracts company.”

Furthermore, he emphasized discipline and self-reflection, pointing out that Cinderella’s respect for rules shaped the outcome of her story. He urged students to value punctuality, self-discipline, and critical thinking, especially when evaluating information online.

Principal Wong concluded by expressing his hopes that students will embrace courage, kindness, discipline, and reflection throughout the year, wishing them a joyful and meaningful learning journey ahead.
