History Department – Form 1 Chinese Culture Workshop

On 28 October, the History Department organized a Chinese Culture Workshop for Form 1 students. The workshop featured activities such as floral plaque crafting, paper-cutting, dough figurine making, and opera mask design, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture through hands-on practice.

Floral plaque crafting is not only an art form but also carries rich historical and cultural significance. Paper-cutting showcases the intricacy and ingenuity of traditional Chinese art, while dough figurines and opera masks gave students the chance to create artistic pieces with distinctive cultural characteristics.

These activities enriched students’ knowledge of Chinese culture and sparked greater interest in the study of history, combining creativity with cultural appreciation.
