Form 1 Parent-Child Marine Excursion

With the crisp autumn weather providing the perfect setting for outings, the Parent-Teacher Association organized the Form 1 Parent-Child Marine Excursion. A total of 150 participants—including the Principal, Vice-Principal, PTA executive members, teachers, Form 1 parents, and students—set sail together to Kat O, Lai Chi Wo, and Ap Chau for a day of exploration and enjoyment.

The group first arrived at Kat O, where they admired the scenic beauty and winding coastline. They then visited Lai Chi Wo, a Hakka village with over 300 years of history, to learn about its cultural traditions. Finally, they explored Ap Chau, observing its breccia formations and coastal erosion landscapes, which deepened their understanding of the local geological environment and ecology.

During the excursion, Form 1 class teachers led parents and students in interactive activities such as “Egg Protection Mission,” “Guess and Draw,” and “Bingo Game.” These activities strengthened communication between parents and children, enhancing parent-child relationships.

Looking ahead, the Parent-Teacher Association will continue to organize more parent education and family-oriented activities, encouraging parents to support and actively participate in nurturing the next generation, helping them grow and thrive.
