TWGHs Student Ambassador Programme – Australia Exchange Tour
From 4 to 13 October 2024, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals organized a Student Ambassador Exchange Tour to Australia, comprising 25 student representatives from 18 TWGHs secondary schools.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to call on the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Sydney, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Sydney, and the Justice Hall of the Dongguan Association of Australia. These experiences offered valuable insights into the development and daily lives of overseas Chinese communities.
The delegation also toured the University of New South Wales, which provided them with a deeper understanding of Australia’s education system and a precious learning opportunity to broaden their horizons and strengthen international exchange.
Our school was honored to be invited to join this meaningful programme. Principal Wong led a group of ten teachers and students to Zhuhai on 15 November to attend the airshow, admire the latest aerospace technology, and enjoy the flight demonstrations.
This Student Ambassador Exchange Tour held great significance in inspiring Hong Kong youth to explore global perspectives, fostering cultural understanding, and encouraging them to engage confidently on the international stage.
