Visit to the Lo Pan Temple

On 23 November, our students took part in a guided tour of the Lo Pan Temple, with the aim of commemorating the historic occasion of the temple’s designation as a declared monument and the completion of its major restoration project.

Through this visit, students gained deeper insights into this important cultural heritage site of Hong Kong and were able to appreciate its distinctive architectural features. Highlights included the rare “Five Peaks Facing Heaven” gable design, as well as the exquisite craftsmanship displayed in the temple’s murals, plasterwork, wood carvings, and Shiwan ceramic sculptures.

This meaningful experience not only enhanced students’ understanding of Hong Kong’s historical and cultural legacy, but also allowed them to witness firsthand the artistry and heritage preserved within the Lo Pan Temple.
