Volunteer Group Experiential Activity – “Dialogue in the Dark”
In alignment with the development of the secondary school curriculum, and to provide students with opportunities to gain experiences across different learning domains, to better understand the circumstances of people in need within society, to deepen their awareness of voluntary work, and to broaden their perspective on social services, our school’s Volunteer Group participated in the “Dialogue in the Dark” experiential activity on 23 November.
This programme was organized by the Dialogue in the Dark Jockey Club Dialogue Experience Centre. Through the activity, students were immersed in an environment of complete darkness, enabling them to experience the challenges faced by visually impaired individuals. The activity not only heightened students’ empathy and social awareness, but also strengthened their appreciation of the importance of volunteer service in fostering an inclusive community.
