"Cats Tea Room" Activity
On January 17, 2025, the Student Environmental Ambassadors and Pet Society jointly organised the "Cats Tea Room" activity. Eighteen students visited the Cat's Teahouse in Mong Kok together and spent a delightful afternoon with the cats. They learned about the daily lives of abandoned cats that have been rescued and now serve as "shop managers" in the cat café, while also gaining valuable knowledge about responsible cat ownership and care.
Through close interaction with the friendly feline residents, participants deepened their understanding of animal welfare, the challenges faced by stray and abandoned cats, and the importance of adoption and proper pet care. The activity not only provided a relaxing and joyful experience but also reinforced the message of compassion towards animals and environmental awareness in the context of pet overpopulation and abandonment.
A big thank you to the organising groups for arranging this meaningful outing, and congratulations to all 18 participating students for making it such a heartwarming and educational afternoon!
