Campus life
Creative Spring Couplets Activity
Co-organised by our school's Chinese Culture and History Society and the Art Society, the "Creative Spring Couplets Activity" brought a festive touch to the campus. The Principal personally wrote and presented snake-themed spring couplets
to the students, symbolising good wishes for the Year of the Snake.
Students expressed their creativity by incorporating a variety of styles and elements into their own designs—ranging from traditional Chinese calligraphy to modern illustrations—each piece conveying heartfelt New Year blessings and a joyful, celebratory atmosphere. Through this hands-on activity, participants not only practised artistic and cultural skills but also spread the spirit of renewal, good fortune, and happiness for the coming year.
This collaborative event beautifully blended tradition with contemporary creativity, allowing everyone to contribute to the festive mood while deepening their appreciation of Chinese cultural heritage. A big thank you to the organising societies and congratulations to all the students for their wonderful creations!
