Yuen Tsuen Ancient Trail Hiking Activity
Organized jointly by our school's Scout Group, Hiking Society, and the Hong Kong Award for Young People, this Yuen Tsuen Ancient Trail hike combined with a countryside cleanup activity. The hike started from the Tsuen Wan Adventist Hospital (Hong Kong Adventist Hospital – Tsuen Wan), passing through Shek Lung Kung, Tin Fu Tsai, and Ching Fai Tong, before reaching Sham Tseng. Along the way, the students picked up a considerable amount of litter and discovered discarded shoe soles and remnants of helium balloons. Through this activity, the students experienced the joy of hiking while also learning the importance of protecting the environment—always take your own rubbish with you. Those who were able even took the initiative to help clean up the countryside.
This version keeps the original meaning, uses natural English phrasing, and adopts the standard English names for the locations (e.g., "Yuen Tsuen Ancient Trail", "Shek Lung Kung", "Tin Fu Tsai", "Ching Fai Tong", "Sham Tseng", and "Hong Kong Adventist Hospital – Tsuen Wan" for clarity). Let me know if you'd like any adjustments!
